This is the best dentist you could ever ask for. My mother has dry socket and these people listen and they care; they helped her immediately. This office is a blessing. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend

I cannot recommend Dr. Rika enough! She is the first dentist I have been to that prioritizes how I feel about my smile and developed a game plan that suited my needs. Her attention to detail, gentle approach, and willingness to address all concerns make my appointments stress-free. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and skilled dentist!

Dr. Rika is awesome. It was five minutes before closing time at her dental office in El Dorado Hills. I walked in because I had a chipped tooth and I used to have my dental work there at this location before she took over this dental office I was greeted with a big smile and I told her what my problem was and she shocked me and said come to the back and let me look at your tooth. She took x-ray. She looked at my tooth and she put a filling in for me. It blew me away. How concerned she was about me being taken care of. She was gentle. She was nice throughout the whole procedure. Where can you walk into a dental office and tell them that you have a little pain in your tooth and they take you in right away nowhere that’s why she’s my new dentist, thank you Riker. See you soon. Too bad all dentist aren’t like her.

HUGE SHOUTOUT to El Dorado Hills Dental Wellness!
If you have dentist anxiety and are in the Sacramento area I couldn’t possibly recommend them more.
I’ve been seeing them for over a year and they’re always gentle, calm, efficient, and do great work!
Today I had a panic attack in the chair and every single staff member and Dr. Rika were there for me.
Compassionate healthcare is under appreciated so I had to take a moment to recognize them.

I've been to Dr. Rika Prodhan-Ashraf numerous times and I've had such an amazing experience. It's a 40 minute drive for me to see Dr. Rika and it, without a doubt is worth it. Her staff is amazing and makes sure to keep me in the loop and gives me an ETA on when it's my turn to be seen. When Dr. Rika is working on my teeth, she keeps me informed about what she is doing, which I appreciate so much. She also goes out of her way to give me tips and information on how to keep my teeth Healthier. Her passion for her profession definitely shows. She cares about her patients and making sure they get the best results, thats what I take away from her office everyime I visit.

I love this place. I’ve known and worked with the staff for over ten years. Dr. Rika has a wealth of knowledge and skills, and it shows through her work. The staff really takes a close understanding of you and remembers even the small details. I Highly recommend coming to this office for all of your dental work. You won’t be disappointed.

I have been in the dental industry for 30 years. I have had some medical issues and find myself not working and having a dental emergency. I had never seen Dr. Rika as a patient. I tell you this so you know I have knowledge of what I speak of.

Dr Rika treated me as she would any other patient. We had tempted together in a previous office meaning we had worked together very minimally for a couple of days at best.

I knew her to be a caring and thorough person and I could have gone to a previous employer but going to her for a limited exam??? WOW! She lived up to every expectation I had. She was thorough, explained my options why they were my options. Very caring. Treated me with extreme professionalism as if I had never set foot in a dental office before.

I would recommend her to anyone and everyone… kind thorough professional and to the point and knowing dentistry agreed with her treatment plan completely

Most amazing dentist and staff. Kind, considerate, compassionate, and relaxed. I am a very apprehensive patient due to bad experiences as a child with dentists. This was my first visit and I was very impressed with my awesome experience! Thank Dr. RIKA and her staff! Kudos!

Yesterday I had a filling done without novacane! Dr Rika used a laser to numb my tooth and do a filling within 10 minutes. Great experience. Not painful and no lasting side effects from novacane. I highly recommend you try this if you don’t like the numbness.
She explained everything that I would experience during the process. Very thorough!

Dr. Rika and staff are extremely pleasant, professional, accommodating, and very good at what they do. The office is modern, spacious, and well-organized. Dr Rika provided my wife and me with exceptional corective dental care, including 13-month Invisalign treatment, which gave amazing results, correcting my uneven bite, leaving perfectly straight teeth and much improved smile! My dental insurance recently changed, so I had to seek another dentist in the area. I'll miss the expertise, friendless, and quality care Dr Rika and staff provided us. Highly recommended exceptional dentistry! ☆☆☆☆☆!!

Dr. Rika & staff are great! I drive 45 minutes just to see them. Dr. Rika explains the procedures and is very gentle. Her dental assistance are awesome too. Hygienist Kelly is a blast & the office wouldn't be complete without Haley up front. Wonderful atmosphere.

Dr. Rika and her team are amazing! When I emailed them for an appt, the doctor herself called me back after hours and very quickly and got me in within the week. Her team is super friendly and polite and the hygienist did a wonderful job on my cleaning. Dr. Rika was even able to fix my filling the same day which was great. Left a happy customer, pain free and I will be referring my husband and clients to them as well. Thanks again!

I have known Dr. Rika for a few years and she has done some work on my teeth, for a person my age it is important to have confidence that what they are going to do to me is a totally professional job and that it is in accordance with what they I need. I am one of those who say something and keep my word and although I know it, you make the decision and visit them and you will realize that you will leave Dr. Rika's clinic happy, the staff from the entrance with Gloria and Haley shows professionalism.

If I could rate this office 100/10 I would.
After a less than stellar experience at another office, I was referred to Dr Rika and EDH Dental Wellness by two close family members. It was a holiday weekend and I had submitted an appointment request on their website expecting to hear back the next business day. Much to my surprise Dr Rika promptly emailed me back the same Saturday and scheduled me a cleaning for the following week!
When I arrived I was warmly greeted by Haley at the front and Dr Rika popped out to introduce herself and throughout the appointment I was very impressed by her calm demeanor and bedside manner.
Kelley did my cleaning and X-rays and was extremely bubbly and fun to chat with.

You can tell that Dr Rika and her staff really care about their patients!

Dr. Rika smiles a lot.... which is a good thing. It's a genuine smile and a living advertisement for what a great smile can do for us as we present ourselves to the world. Especially if you are nervous about going to the dentist, Dr. Rika will help calm your anxiety.

Dr. Rika is a sweetheart. She took care of my cavities so well, I was anxious to do them but she and her staff comforted me and took good care of my teeth. I did the airway treatment that helps with snoring, breathing, and swallowing and it’s helped me breathe much better.

I just finished my second Laser Breathing Treatment with Dr. Rika. Absolutely amazing. The air flow down my throat has improved by leaps and bounds. I can't remember how long it's been since I felt that. Loose tissue in my throat tightened up within a few minutes. I had never even heard of this treatment before I went to Dr. Rika. I can breathe easier. I'm no longer having problems swallowing. I'm not waking up multiple times a night gagging, and morning wake-up headaches have disappeared. I'm sure this is due to the fact I'm getting oxygen all night, what a concept. Best thing I've ever done. I highly recommend it!

I’m LB Clark. Today was my First time meeting Dr Rika @ El Dorado Hills Dental Wellness. She’s recently taken over Dr Rufo‘s office. I was extremely impressed with her ability to explain dental recommendations and my treatment plan. She spent a lot of time answering all my questions. I’m confident in her ability & she been in practice over 8 years. She is highly educated & loves what she does. You can tell she is passionate about dentistry. I connected with her so well and look forward to getting all my treatments and dental needs taken care of here. Haley & Kelly are still here & both love working with her. Dr. Rika was wonderful. First off, she’s kind to her staff. That says so much. I needed a few things done but told her I was going to start with a crown and postpone other work. She did an excellent job with the crown. It feels like original tooth. She did not pressure me to do more. She did, however, give me less expensive options I was unaware of. Dr. Rufo never tried to upsell to unnecessary work. I’m so pleased Dr. Rika didn’t either. Dr. Rika was also very committed to making sure I had a positive, painless experience. The whole team is awesome. Two thumbs up!

I've been a patient here for 32 years! Dr. Rika now continues the tradition of the best dental care in the area. Friendly staff, best dental hygienists (Hi Kelly -- that's you!) and just a great overall dental practice. If you aren't local to EDH, a visit to this office is well worth the drive up the hill. Thanks again Dr. Rika for fixing my troublesome crown -- you ended months of tooth and face pain.
